My biggest pet peeve is that there's a ton of scam websites that are "Free QR Code Generator"s then the QR code stops working after a few days and then redirects you to ask you to PAY to re-activate it. I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.

My child loves going to the library and checking out a new video game every week. Going digital only eliminates libraries as a way people can access games.

As the director of a historical video game preservation institution, and someone who has dedicated his entire adult life to this cause, this is accurate. We have attempted to work with the industry's trade organization to find a legal path forward, but they refuse to offer a meaningful alternative.

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.

if art is your income: don't monetize everything you create. "wow maybe I can sell this as a comm (feverish passion project that you did for fun)" don't do this. keep somethings for yourself to enjoy
