Queer Wrath Month 2026

The discourse on antisemitism in the country is such that Mike Rogers can simultaneously attack Abdul El-Sayed *as* antisemitic, as a scary foreign Muslim critic of Israel, and also *with* antisemitism, as a tool of the foreign-born Jewish puppeteer.

"LEAKED: Footage of Abdul El-Sayed fundraising last night in the California home of the far-left Soros family.

Abdul’s education was paid for by the Soros family and NOW they are funding his campaign to make him a U.S. Senator

The Soros family is funding Abdul because he will carry out their agenda of:

➡️ defunding the police
➡️ emptying prisons, and letting violent criminals & sex offenders back onto the streets
➡️ gender transition surgeries for minors
➡️ allowing illegals to vote in American elections

Abdul is too extreme for Michigan."

Last year, every* gender studies scholar in the US was spammed with a hardcover copy of an "academic" book by some TERF from a big publisher. (I opened it to a random page and gave up after 3 factual inaccuracies, I didn't get to the next page.) I wonder why I am reminded of that all of a sudden!

Scholastic sent me a whole box of paperback copies of Sorcerer’s Stone that I sure didn't order. When I asked why, my rep told me they're sending complimentary giveaway copies to random schools that do Book Fair.

People do not understand how men who are white supremacists can have wives who are women of color and I need folks to realize that those men see their wives as subordinate property and not equals. These men are foaming at the mouth to bring back quadroon balls.

Screencap from Invincible: "I do love your mother, but she's more like a pet to me."

Repression in France’s overseas territories gets little attention. But protests are also happening and kids are detained. In Guadeloupe, 21 schools were blocked on the 6th of October. In Le Moule, gendarmes were choking, kicking and pinning a teenager to the ground during his arrest.

So we don't get to be "the fun ones," and we don't get asked back, because when our official duties ended, we didn't go to the bar to join the after-hours social party. It's not required, not mandatory, but the social impact is very real.

I have been a guest at conventions where, during the pre-con walk through, my handler has pointed out the bar and mentioned how some guests are "more fun" and "get asked back," then names only men. Because a lot of female guests aren't comfortable hanging out around alcohol with strangers.

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

If you’ve read about TN this week, please take a moment with this piece if you didn’t read it when we published it: It’s an investigation into the execution team Alabama has put together. It’s officers with a history of violence who choose each other. Eye-opening to what happens in executions.

In Alabama, Prison Guards Accused of Violence and Misconduct Carry Out Secretive Executions - Bolts

As Alabama keeps details around the death penalty hidden, an investigation into its execution team raises questions about how incarcerated people are treated in their final moments.

“The share of workers who’ve been out of a job for 27 weeks or longer now stands at 27%, the highest since 2015 outside of the Covid-19 pandemic. The median spell of unemployment lasts about 11 weeks, and the average is more than six months, suggesting rising levels of long periods of joblessness.”

It’s rarely been harder for people to find new jobs

The unemployment rate is low by historical standards, but the job market is anything but dynamic.

Data center construction has migrated to places of low resistance: poor, often Black areas where corrupt deals are commonplace and the harms to residents invisible. Lowndes County, Alabama, in the heart of the Black Belt, is one of those places. 🧵 prospect.org/2026/10/01/d...

Faced with little transparency about a mammoth facility, Lowndes County fights back.

I do not care what Leo says into a mic until it's "all the total trans healthcare bans in the Catholic Church's massive hospital networks are immediately repealed."

Underneath the "progressive" papacy of Pope Leo remains a deeply reactionary institution, one of the biggest enemies of trans rights worldwide. @sjklapecki.itch.io, who survived the Catholic Church's bigotry firsthand, goes in-depth on why it's time to see through the propaganda and face reality.
