Outside of the fact that AGI doesn’t exist and can’t via LLM, the idea of something sentient that can’t perceive time is weird to me. I bet that’s what the fifth dimensioners would say about glorblop, though. Anyway, good edibles!

Solar panels, batteries and wind turbines are the solution. They cost 20x to 50x cheaper than nuclear power, and can be built 15x to 20x faster, and they don’t need cool river water to cool them down. Nuclear power plants in Europe are dependent on cold river water, so they’re currently useless.

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke says “good system.” In response to the following proposal: “Interesting... what about weighted voting proportional to the level of income tax you pay? (no income tax paid - O vote, $1-100k - 1 vote, $100-200k 2 votes and so on... cap it at 5 votes for $500k+. For those that constantly complain about the wealthy not paying tax/fair share they'd have nothing to worry about right? Why not reward representation of taxation and build a democracy around those that foot the bill?”
