I’ve been pretty quiet as of late and here’s one of the reasons why! I am delighted to announce that I am one of the curators for Lab^4, an initiative that curates ArtLitLab’s event calendar this Spring/Early Summer. We got some fantastic events coming up in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

We are thrilled to announce the next series of LAB^4 programming, which is a special initiative that turns arts and events programming over to community members. Above all, the project seeks to shift the role of curators from gatekeepers to their original definition as caretakers. I'm writing this short story in third person omni-POV. Like, intentionally. It's like going against a hard current that's screaming, "Don't headhop! Stick to only one POV!" See, this is deconstruction. First you questioning if there's a God, next you're disregarding writing conventions. Craaaaazy.

September 2025 Writing Update

This is the hardest newsletter I've ever written. I've been putting it off for the longest time, but many on this newsletter are not on social media, so they don’t know what happened over the summer. I’ll keep this brief. My dad in 2005 In May, my father, Raymond Taylor, was admitted to the hospital with what we learned later was terminal stomach cancer.
