Water privatisation has been a pointless, stupid exercise from the start, none of the excuses for privatisation (efficiency, competition, choice!) apply to basic utilities where you don't even get a choice of provider! Just plain old robbery, value extraction for the rich at the expense of people.

You know how the genre fiction that the literary establishment likes is just regular genre fiction but with themes and metaphors that are really blindingly obvious so that critics won't miss them? Anyway I just watched Backrooms.
The gaslighting in the UK is absurd. My kiddo has been fully included for years. This segregation has a start date, September 1st. It is a 180 of school policy, that they are being forced to follow by Government policy. Yet not one newspaper is mentioning this HUGE change to trans kids' lives.
