I’m counting at least four film crews here too. There’s been a lot of press about the city’s decision to clear the camp with advocates wondering exactly where camp residents are supposed to go. St. Paul cops are stopping cars coming in but there are dozens of people that have gathered here in anticipation of the sweep in order to help camp residents and document what the city does here today.

The air used to be filthy, which is why we needed to clean it. And then we did!

Michelle is Le Tired@michellek107.bsky.social · 13h agoNo Smoking Laws I don’t know how to express to people who didn’t live thru it: there used to be cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE… in restaurants, planes, hotels, SCHOOLS, doctors’ offices. Everywhere. I have asthma and had bronchitis multiple times a year. I’m so grateful for those laws.
You used to have to carry a whole kit for anaphylaxis, a syringe, tourniquet, the whole deal. If you don't have a severe allergy, I promise you do not understand what a game changer epipens were

my first “good” tv was a sony trinitron 13” that cost $350 in 1989 another three hundred bucks to get a programable VCR player/recorder the weekly TV Guide so you could know when stuff to watch was available if you had a friend with another VCR, you could bootleg BLOCKBUSTER tapes 😏
