Does anyone know of flour or pasta available in Canada that's just wheat? No may contains, no "run on lines with" and preferably by companies that don't make "high protein" or "gluten free" stuff?

People are engaging with AI in ways that imply it is highly addictive (interventions), and can induce mental health breaks (psychosis, etc.) and yet the media treats AI evangelists who sound exactly like cocaine freaks of the 80s like normal tech execs instead of pushers high on their own supply.1/2
SARS-CoV-2 did not come from a lab. There is no evidence pointing to laboratory origins. There’s been a massive disinformation campaign to convince the public otherwise. It’s scary how effective that campaign has been.
Hey folks, hoping I can call on the community to report this channel for impersonation. They've just straight up stolen my videos and slapped an AI logo onto it all. youtube.com/@theoculusim...
Fascists aren't gay. Fascism frames sexuality as an exercise of power, not attraction. They don't care about gender; they hate queers because we engage in consensual activity among equals rather than engaging in predation and humiliation rituals. None of this is hard to understand if you try.
"Liberal bubble" has only ever meant anywhere where right wing perspectives aren't artificially elevated and forced into everyone's feeds.
If one does not want to be spoken ill of after death, one should maybe try not being such a massive cunt in life.
Monday's a holiday, but between heat, smoke, and dreading Tuesday when I have to tell a library all their network cabling is royally buggered, it does not feel like one.
Sask is refurbishing its coal fleet, 2 mines and 3 power plants, to take us until at least 2050 when they want to transition to nuclear, which is not our best option by a long shot with refurbishment costs soaring from an originally estimated $900M to *$2.6B* on our backs with raised rates.
Estimated cost to refurbish Sask. coal plants nearly tripled to $2.6 billion | CBC News
The Saskatchewan government says coal is the affordable option to transition to nuclear power and its decision is rooted in energy security, but industry players and experts raise concerns about the p...

We need a lot less “When I went through X it was ugly and brutal, but I survived, and made me strong!” and a lot more “When I went through X it was ugly and brutal, and no one else should ever have to suffer like that, how do we fix it?”
Why do we have pervert glasses before we have glasses that adapt to conditions, or your physical state? Says something about the people/companies that they design privacy invasion before glasses that work in weird lighting or help when you're having issues (literally) focusing.
I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

There should be a special hell for any rancher that feeds their livestock corn. Like, I'm eating a cut from the only safe butcher, and suddenly, sour corn. I live in southern Alberta, where we have an overabundance of actual grass and non-corn grains/silage. Why must you taint your meat so?
I swear, if I ever meet the distant relative who shares my name and doesn't know their own email, they and their descendants will cease to exist. I might settle for the heads of the US legislators who block privacy laws, While I am Canadian, this dingus is in the US and not technologically literate
Maybe on World Ranger Day, all of you could stop following ALT NPS as they are not made up of former or current Ranger staff. We are a small group of people when it comes down to it and no one I know knows anyone associated with that account.
Listen. I'm gonna say the quiet part out loud: the only way you "can't figure out" how to make a Blade movie is white supremacy. Full stop. The narrative writes itself, there are plenty of Black actors and martial artists who'd jump at the chance. It's not rocket surgery.
Canadian Universities are terrible places for many reasons, and this is just another layer to the shit-cake. Do a college, or at least one of the places not listed here if you're doing post-secondary. And stay away from Alberta. breachmedia.ca/canadian-uni...

There's not really a scarcity of "good farmland." There's a scarcity of good farming. But that's a difficult conversation! And NIMBY environmentalism? That's easy. "Nooo don't build on the field that I don't own, but still somehow consider mine to dictate what should be done with it."
Ok so this lady says solar panels are getting built on "the most productive farmland" in her area. Which just ain't true at all. It ain't true here in NC either. Where I ALSO hear that talking point over & over again. Smells like astroturf! So let's get the dirt on solar farms & dirt ✨
I genuinely don't know what to do about this. In our diseased information environment, one MAGA-adjacent "influencer" can do more to shape public opinion than mountains of studies or facts. Where are the pro-clean-energy influencers to counter this shit?
Attacks on libraries, library staff, collections and patrons are ramping up around the world. Anti library campaigners appear to be sharing their playbooks and only need to be lucky once while library campaigners need to be lucky every single time.📚📜
This was something a lot of housing advocates saw coming a mile away when the immigration cuts were announced. The fundamental stance of Canadian cities is that they prefer high prices to building housing. They love high prices. Easing off immigration was never going to change that.
Many said that we had to cut immigration so governments could "catch up" on housing. I tried to explain, based on my experience in housing advocacy, why I thought that was unlikely. Immigrants were just a scapegoat for governments who didn't prioritize new homes. I wish that I had been proven wrong.
Canada Post now has a Canadian shopping hub for buying from Canadian businesses! canadashops.ca Not a huge amount there just now, but I hope this will grow. I'm also hopeful it will mean more retailers sending via CanPost instead of courier.
