FINALLY. We conquered the mighty THE ODYSSEY in 70mm IMAX at CityWalk and it was worth every day of waiting and every large-format frame flicker. Still overwhelmed from the experience but was thrilled to see in the best way possible. And that Trojan Horse on display has a GREEAT ASS…as you can see.

RIP to director Chuck Russell, who you probably know most as the director of the Mask, but whose masterpiece film that you should absolutely go back and watch is his 1988 remake of The Blob. Seriously, it's a near perfect movie.
I’ve said this before but today it truly stings. Chuck Russell saved my life. He also was a crucial part in who I am as a filmmaker thanks to his work. He was also my friend. Im heartbroken. Rest in Peace Chuck. You will be missed by me and so many.

Been on this kick of playing MTV’s “120 Minutes” full eps on YouTube (R.I.P. Dave Kendall). Then this ad came on for the 1993 MTV Movie Awards’ “Best Action Sequence” and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I LOVED these promos and they clearly made a mark on my own work in a strange sorta way…
