The bulge was subtle on some players while on others, such as France’s Kylian Mbappé, it was borderline comical. It felt entirely unrealistic that the design of the shirts would be fundamentally changed with only three months left before the start of the World Cup, and on Wednesday, a source familiar with Nike’s plan confirmed that they hadn’t altered the shirts in any way. What Nike had done, the source told the Guardian, is offer instructions to member federations in terms of how to care for the jerseys: wash them before wearing them, and steam the shoulder seams. found a whole operation of unmanned youtube channels making completely unchecked long form slop videos where the ai voice simulacra regularly trips up & does this for a full ten minutes every time. all the very legit comments are like "NO! THATS NOT TRUE! YOU LIE HE DID NOT" & never acknowledge it.

One of the things that gave the Amiga charm and character was that when you loaded up a new floppy disk, there was a good chance that it would have a custom mouse pointer, another tiny form of self-expression. And @losso3000.bsky.social has made an incredible collection of them available online!

When I was a little kid my favourite thing in the world to do when we visited Nanna was to go to Blow's Downs in Dunstable, 15 minutes from her house. Why? Because it was a former quarry and there was a big mound of chalk we called The Hump that I could climb. So much shitter than a phone.
