Sometimes I wish I had more energy to make MORE art and take more clients. But I know that good art takes time. I spend more time thinking about the cover art than actually drawing it. I'm not a machine. Though trying out some less time consuming styles might be a good idea sometime.

When my darling authors are happy with the cover I make, it makes me so happy. And it does make every minute I spend crouching other the artwork worth it. I love when myart gives other creatives genuine joy. And helps sell books. And makes the customers emotional the second they see it.

Since I've got 2+ years in art-directing in cover art field, I was thinking weather I should mention this in my commissions and offer some of my skills as a separate service. Like I can not just draw a cover according to your brief. I can MAKE a concept. And basically art direct myself.

Those heatwaves are a nightmare. They literally drain me of energy so much I sleep half of the day. And when the heat is gone I need 2 to 4 days to recover. My sleep cycle gets broken. I feel lack of concentration and constant fatigue. We are looking for a new apartment now with cooler conditions
