in this case there's a boycott on anyway. but even if there wasn't. whether you're looking at piracy or just not participating there is usually some sort of trade-off; you want to contribute to the industry where you can and make things pay off for people. but you have no way to do that here

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

One of my teachers when I was growing up in Boston worked as a stunt coordinator and doing special effects (like rain, snow, breaking glass). It was blue-collar for sure and also a lot of craft and artisanship involved.
