Tom makes a compelling and definitive argument here, but I’ll counter by saying Bam is the only player to score 70-plus points whose performance doesn’t warrant an asterisk.

maybe my favorite blazers stat: after tonight, blazers are now 20-8 when they shoot 33% or better from 3PT. a .714 win percentage. only 6 teams are better when they make at least a third of their 3s: DET, OKC, BOS, SAS, NYK, CLE. that's it. @stathead.com
