People on the BBC are once again taking AI claims at face value. Why? Because BBC stands for CREDULOUS FUCKING MORONS. I know none of the letters are correct for that. But it is still true.

Watching Silo. It is fun. One thing I like about it is that, while it tries to be gritty and dark, it is so obviously a load of theatre kids having fun. It's got a real drama-club-devising-an-ensemble-piece vibe.

I usually think Thought for the Day is the most embarrassing part of the Today programme. But the journalist taking this AI nut seriously is definitely worse.

I don't understand people seeing intelligence behind AI output. As a songwriter I have often used word randomising techniques to find ideas for my lyrics. The cut up technique Bowie used is a famous one, but there are others.
I am a middle child. I am also best. I assume the two facts are related.
