Lib Demmer, Offshore Radio Anorak, vegetarian, supporter of animal rights. Long suffering West Ham fan and full of useful (or useless!) trivia. Finally left the right wing sesspit that is X. Final straw account was hacked.

Five C-17s delivered King Donald the Mad’s Secret Service motorcade to Ireland: Cadillac SUVs, anti-drone systems, assault vehicles and emergency equipment – all for a 2-day trip including the Irish Open at his own Doonbeg golf resort. And US taxpayers pick up the bill for his private event.

A reminder that the convicted sex pest and his deeply corrupt family are about to arrive in Ireland, where everyone involved in the Irish Open golf tournament will disgrace themselves in fawning over these criminal reprobate monsters. www.rte.ie/news/munster...

Hospital at Home works, and we need answers. I’ve teamed up with other local Lib Dem MPs whose constituents are supported by the Royal United Hospitals Bath to call for clarity over the future of its Hospital at Home service. Patient care must be at the heart of any decision being made.

🚨 Labour open up largest lead over Reform since Andy Burnham became PM in latest Survation poll. Reform UK’s support continues to wain. Conservatives close gap on Reform. Lib Dems increase vote share pulling ahead of Greens.

In Dorset we have lost 44 dentists in the last 5 years despite increasing need. With funding failing to reach frontline dental services urgent action is needed to ensure that money allocated for dentistry is spent only on dentistry. Petition link in comments below 👇

Andy Burnham requested by Sir Ed Davey and senior Liberal Democrats to hold cross-party talks about the Climate-Nature crisis. Will he do it?

Zero Hour: the campaign for climate and nature@zero-hour.bsky.social · 3d ago

🌿 Great to hear CNCC Vice-Chair @pippaheylings.bsky.social at The #WildSummit UK today! 📣 “Andy Burnham must convene urgent cross-party talks on our response to the climate-nature crisis. After the summer we’ve just lived through there isn’t any other way than doing it now and together.”

Reform mired in scandal. A Labour government that literally cannot do the most basic bits of “are you a state?” i.e. arrest people who blockade infrastructure and intimidate the free press. Literally everyone in politics is optimising towards a Conservative victory other than Kemi Badenoch.

Every child born between 2002 and 2011 was given a Child Trust Fund. When a young person lacks the capacity to manage money, parents must currently apply to the Court of Protection to reach it. Ed Davey spent eight months doing that for his son John.

Ministers voted against the change and could try to strip it out when the bill reaches MPs. Lib Dems will be pressing Labour MPs to keep it and let families reach money that was always meant for their children.

Two years after the Scottish Government refused to fund the tram, we were promised answers. Instead, this report confirms the Council is no closer to finding the tens of millions needed for a business case, let alone the £bns required for construction. www.edinburghlibdems.org/news/article...

Lib Dems slam lack of answers in new tram report

Interesting Westminster Hall debate on Monday 12 October. On the petition demanding the UK applies to rejoin the EU. Debate is on the motion: “That this House has considered e-petition 749128 relating to the UK applying to rejoin the EU”. Will be on Parliament TV. Which MPs will turn up?
