In a way I am happy that Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus was such a poorly written book, because I think it probably sewed the seeds that led to me wanting to design my own adventures.

Biological sex does not mean "the thing we assume you are based on your genitals observed at birth." It's mostly a misnomer, but insofar as it describes anything real at all, it's a collection of biological attributes, many of which can be changed with HRT. It's neither binary nor immutable.

Cis does just fine and you’re also revealing your own ignorance of how biology works, as well as underlying inherent transphobia, even if unintentionally.

The thing about spineless politicians is they truly have no positions. Everything they do and say is about their own power. This isn't him taking a principled stance, its him realizing he can't afford to hold an unpopular opinion. Its a good sign on public perception though.

It's proof that he "believes" whatever is advantageous for him at the time. He has no values.
Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.
BRB, writing an essay arguing that, since the number of people doing character build theorycrafting is anecdotally much greater than the number of people engaged in active group-based play at any given time, Dungeons & Dragons in its modern form should properly be considered a solo journalling game.
