Now James Orr has stepped down as Reform UK's Head of Policy after C4's report, questions remain for Cambridge – where he is Associate Professor. Byline Times revealed serious concerns about his activities there months ago. We all know there won't now be 200+ articles on him and his life don't we?

Such a strange graphic from the German Environment Agency, identifying similarities & apparent distinctions in street design needs of children compared to older adults. Forgetting 1. Disabled children exist 2. Disabled older adults also exist. Not just adults who grew old.

Graphic that apparently shows the shared requirements of street design of older adults and children. Older adults have distinct needs for seating, toilets, and barrier-free design apparently. And children have distinct needs of clear regulations, and play and learning apparently.

apparently these raised crosswalks at Rainier/I-90 are the first WSDOT has installed for highway ramp crossings. & the speed decreases are impressive. wish they'd have measured pedestrian, scooter and bike volumes at these crossings before/after to be able to show how safer crossings induce use.

The guardian: a tragedy that demands reflection Also the guardian: but not reflection from us. Our disproportionate coverage of a black, disabled man we knew had reached his limit was legit. We definitely would've hounded a white man too. Promise. Not racist. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

“Call it two-track governance, where generously funding the military is seen as prudent and necessary but doing the same to improve the lives of ordinary people is wasteful and optional.” My col. on the ‘warfare v welfare’ narrative and unspoken double standards: www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Hundreds of thousands of disabled people with lifelong conditions are being put through “pointless” benefit reassessments, contrary to official guidelines. This includes people with learning disabilities and limb amputations. My exclusive: www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

My first time tricycling the full layout on Deansgate. What a change from being stuck breathing in the fumes of back to back motor vehicles. It was very fun to cycle. Especially as part of a 10 mile loop almost entirely on protected cycleways thuough Manchester, Salford &Trafford.

Bidirectional cycle lane on a wide road with a single vehicle lane on the right side of the road. There are shops on either side of the road and high-rises in the distance.

Mum to a one year old and back to work. Toooo many emails to catch up on as I had the privilege of being able to take 12 months of maternity leave (thank you to my colleagues and co-authors who supported this). So if you have been trying to get in touch, try again now.
