I'd like to use this opportunity to clarify something: if you think a text file that reads "delete everything" is malware, you are a clown. If you use Claude or other agent tools, you are a clown. You are not welcome on our site, in our community, or frankly anywhere.

Recently, there was some controversy, because an AI user pointed their automated tools at our website, and got a warning about a prompt injection. Nothing actually happened, mind, but our anti-AI page successfully annoyed the operator and interrupted their "work."

wish there was another alternative to these old console throwback things (not counting mister derivatives) that weren't analogue or modretro as while the latter is irredeemably evil the former sucks in its own deeply inept ways

I was told you couldn't do 3D on the Playdate, so I did it. Then I was told there was no way I could create exterior levels like those in Mirror's Edge, so I proved them wrong again.

With these sorts of cries of 'fascists are secretly gay', read Klaus Theweleit's Male Fantasies (vol. 2, p. 339) for a far more interesting interpretation: fascists replace sexual freedom and dismantling of social norms with the psychosexual compulsion to must do what is forbidden, but also obey

We are now in a position to establish why the fascists ultimately maintained the prohibition on homosexuality. Two reasons emerge from the above.
In the first instance, the fascists feared the potential of permissible homosexuality to develop into forms of sexuality they could no longer easily organize and contain. Second, the legalization of homosexuality was seen as likely to eliminate one of the key areas of transgression into which the fascist had to be initiated and accepted, were he to gain access to the secrets that were the domain of a specific power elite. In other areas of social life, the Nazis were clearly denied access both to secrets and power; thus homosexuality became all the more indispensable. It replaced access to social decision-making power with the freedom to do what was forbidden.
But this freedom was also a shackle —in two senses. Though the fascists willingly consented to a "movement" that served their own aims, the freedom it afforded them was always potentially coercive; if they failed to do what the "movement" demanded, they risked exposure and condemnation. In the end, they faced a second double-bind, a second dilemma to parallel the dou-ble-bind that simultaneously prohibited and commanded incest between men: thou shalt love men, but thou shalt not be homosexual. A second command-ment: thou shalt do what is forbidden, yet still be punished, if those in power so desire. Each carefully constructed double-bind is a time-bomb: the trapeze artist may successfully tread the "tightrope" between power relations — but he will never eradicate them. His best strategy is deferral, a repression of con-tradictions. For the fascist, any potential deterritorialization (in this case, the dismantling of particular bourgeois prohibitions) is channeled into a tangled system of dependencies, in which his survival depends on his acceptance of a system of unconditional obedience, or a system of endless intrigue held together by one thing only-power. Everywhere Republicans gather, Grindr crashes. Or at least, that's what people have told me about 500 times since my video discussing if homophobia is always rooted in secretly being gay. But is it true? Do republicans constantly crash Grindr whenever they meet? New Video: youtu.be/GHeAJPbx0SI

If Sony's going to really go down the discless road they should do some kind of game key card type thing. They should make collectibles with wireless tags in them that authenticate your copy of the game or something. Tap Nathan Drake's daughter to the sensor to unlock Uncharted: The Next Generation.
