Remind me of how Reform, AfD, One Nation and FN are polling again in 🇬🇧, 🇩🇪 , 🇦🇺, and 🇫🇷 ? And who the PMs of Italy and Japan are? This is not to exonerate the many Americans who embrace the far right, just to point out that fascism obviously appeals to a substantial body of voters everywhere.

I’m not sure if even those Americans who are full-on fighting Trump, MAGA and the GOP can fully understand that the rest of the world looks at 37% STILL supporting the most obviously and completely corrupt, moronic and power-mad leader as evidence that the United States can’t ever be trusted again.

Months ago PPB arrested a veteran protesting about ICE and pepper spraying a MAGA extremist in self defense. MAGA extremists have maced about 40 people of Portland, total in these last 2 weeks No arrests. They clearly assault us, no arrests. Bob Day and Nathan Vasquez support MAGA violence.

Missed this Eli email on Wednesday trying to grab the outstretched hand of the Oregonian. I know that Mitch wasn’t in the street gassing and beating on the citizens he wants to speak for.

I was in our streets during the 100 days of riots in our city. I was there, both angry about how George Floyd died at the hands of Derek Chauvin, and angry that so many people were using it as an excuse to cause destruction to our city. In the midst of this, I had a duty to fulfill, to attempt to halt further destruction while not inflaming an already extremely tense situation. And where was Mitch Green during this? At home, tweeting in an attempt to go viral with his hot takes.
