This is still true and will be for at least another month (can’t get affordable daycare in the middle of summer). So if you’ve got some money sitting around maybe?

I had a realization yesterday that The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a great allegory for Generative AI. Mickey pawns off work to an autonomous force only to have that force mindlessly use keep doing that very thing and destroy everything while using up plenty of perfectly good water in the process

Just finished the Pegila kit! This was a super fun paint job full of messy layers to create the illusion of intended details, something I've noticed recently with Tsuburaya kaiju. Pegila was air brushed with minimal dry brushing. Only wish the eyes glew more.

Please stop feeling bad for asking for help. There’s billions being spent on war, dumbass ballrooms and so much more horrible shit. You are not bad in any way for needing help in a fucked up capitalist society who works against us constantly and doesn’t care if we die. We deserve to live.

I can't speak to the quality of the movie, but in what way is "see Ebenezer before the interesting part of his story happens" a selling point. The entire point is that his life is nothing during that period. It's joyless, monotonous, and empty.
