Whenever I work on menus I think of Shigeru Miyamoto's 1999 GDC talk "countless features are taken for granted Title and Registration screens, dialog system, item select windows, etc I call these parts of the game Labor. I'm always trying to design games which feature as few of these as possible

Looks like the Sony PR team has begun its consent manufacturing operation among the media in the past 24 hours. I wonder how many other gaming outlets and influencers this week will also happen to put up posts/articles/videos declaring that eliminating physical media from consoles is good, actually?
