Sending my biggest love to all my trans friends today. I’ll be here for you and will keep fighting for as long as it takes. You are my siblings and my community, and my world is a better place with you all in it. ❤️🏳️⚧️❤️

If you have transitioned later in life, please know how deeply you are needed here. Your story is the exact proof someone else needs to finally take their first step.
Crop yields down, our countryside scorched and over 2800 people are dead due to this summer's heatwaves. Meanwhile fossil fuel giants are raking in record profits. We must end this rampant profiteering, and cut fossil fuels from our energy mix as soon as possible.
BP profits more than double to $5.7bn in three months as Iran war sends oil prices soaring - "While BP banks enormous profits, millions of households are paying the price" #energycrisis #climatecrisis www.theguardian.com/business/202...
The GCs are uniting in their grief over Rod Liddle's death, a man who assaulted his young pregnant girlfriend and said he couldn't be a teacher because he'd rape the kids. He was also a vicious racist, long before it was so profitable. He hated trans people, so, to these 'feminists' he's a hero.
The thing about this (and please don’t start a pileon) is that it’s actually just not true. Zack and all of the MPs have been shouting from the rooftops about the climate and the heatwaves and droughts all summer
Yeah I guess they could try talking about the climate, seems like it would be good fit for them
I actually think it’s really a bad sign that straight people have managed to erase themselves from conversations about the roots of homophobia.
Everywhere Republicans gather, Grindr crashes. Or at least, that's what people have told me about 500 times since my video discussing if homophobia is always rooted in secretly being gay. But is it true? Do republicans constantly crash Grindr whenever they meet? New Video: youtu.be/GHeAJPbx0SI
Practical (not specifically legal) advice on using the toilet if you are trans in the UK

It's cool how Farage is plummeting in the national polls (relax, he's still definitely winning Clacton again) since the press collectively decided a couple of months back that they'd finally had enough of him but it would have been way cooler if they'd done that in, like, 2011.
In case anyone thought complete lack of justice for victims of sexual violence was an Anglosphere issue, this is a pretty horrific example from Norway. Despite testimony from one of their children that he physically restrained her during sex while the child was in the bed, her moving to a *locked*
Very disappointing from the new Prime Minister, very much sounding like the previous PM. These are among the world’s most vulnerable and desparate people. They need safe routes and humanity from responsible politicians, not grandstanding. This isn’t doing politics differently.
This is the abuser’s playbook. Present a bunch of times your victim appeared “happy” and “normal” as evidence you couldn’t be abusive, even though it does nothing to disprove the claims and is in fact the textbook response to abuse, especially when a child is involved.
Rep. Max Miller: "My former wife has claimed that during a custody exchange at my home that day, I assaulted her…If I had assaulted her, would she have offered to cook me dinner six days later?"
I’ve seen a lot of my colleagues’ interactions with Claude working on research problems & it would be easier for me to accept it as a serious scientific tool if it didn’t end every single response with the LLM equivalent of “you want fries with that?” — constantly trying to goad you into asking more
As I've said OVER AND OVER - it's better to NOT support us in the first place than to say you do then back down at the first sign of confrontation or hardship. That is literally just gaslighting us and is actually WORSE than those that just straight up oppose our existence.
The government have been allowed to take away trans rights, now they've got away with taking away the right to protest for a majority. If you think you're safe, you're either a cishet white male or an idiot. You decide.
Britain ‘losing the plot’ over pro-Palestine crackdown
Britain's most persecuted minority ... according to The Daily Telegraph's front page ... Millionaires. It's clear who they are here to serve. No wonder they hate Greens for unashamedly calling for wealth to be taxed fairly. Let's make it happen join.greenparty.org.uk
Approximately 1 out of 3 women will experience sexual and/or physical abuse in their lifetime and you still have men claiming that allegations must be false because there are too many of them. It’s actually the opposite. The vast majority allegations will never become public
Women's Rights Network/Sex Matters took Feile to court to have their event reinstated. It was not reinstated. The two statements released after an agreement was reached give two very different impressions of what happened today in Belfast's High Court.
I will not be lectured on climate impact by any publicaton who tongues the hole of OpenAI, thanks
You know what I'm genuinely curious @robfordmancs.bsky.social do you still stand by what you said here? Considering that now, the NHS is moving to a system of data records that will aim to out trans people, violating our human right to privacy?
Just been reminded of this and now my blood pressure is at critical levels
How does their right to privacy survive contact with literally any other cisgender woman. If someone is undressing in a public space in front of completely random strangers then the right to privacy is gone already. That is not the same as a trans person's medical history being made public
If you're a trans person in England (or the parent or guardian of a young trans person in England) I strongly recommend doing this immediately. The new data principles for the shared NHS record in England - based on the transphobic and psuedoscientific Sullivan Review - are designed to out us.
You can opt-out of having a shared NHS record. I opted out over a decade ago now and it has never affected any of the medical care I receive except having to give new doctors a list of my medicine because they can't pull it off my GPs system. www.nhs.uk/using-the-nh...
1. Do not get angry with Jess for putting this out there. 2. We must not become despondent & give up. Piling on lots of nasty stuff at the same time shows that is what Burnham wants. 3. There are a whole load of reasons/ways to keep resisting however. This will cost Labour the next election.
A short thread explaining trans exclusion in the law, and the Code of Practice, in response to a load of questions 🧵 Obviously this is necessarily simplified. I cannot write a legal textbook on Bluesky.
The focus here shouldn't be on cis women but my experience over the past decade is that transphobes think a trans woman is any woman over 5'6 with short hair. Don't photograph ANYONE in a toilet but also: get ready to see a bunch of pics of 5'10 cis women washing their hands.
They're coming for your children www.lgbtqnation.com/2025/06/jk-r...
You'd have thought they had some peaceful protestors they could let out first considering their authoritarian crackdown on such things.
McFadden is asked about the decision to include rapists in the early release scheme. He says they didnt have any other choice What about releasing other prisoners? The fact is you'd rather release a rapist than someone who destroyed drones that were going to be used to kill kids
But the guidance tells eg women's service that they must choose one of two options to lawfully operate 1) Ban trans women in order to rely on the single/separate sex exceptions 2) Become fully mixed-sex – that is to say, they must also admit cis men I think this is wrong in law.

"This is distressing to trans people as well as those of us within the profession who continue to support trans patients.”
Reporting about British Medical Association critique of Cass Review was 'factually wrong'
The mainstream media's reporting of vital information about trans healthcare was wrong. Again.

This is Rowling's pinned tweet, and yet, just this week, she is funding legal cases against Féile Belfast and Amnesty International for exercising their free speech and fair opinion. She is using her massive wealth to terrorise these orgs into compilance, because she doesn't believe in free speech.
The UK media has been so captured by privileged, powerful, and well-funded ‘gender critical’ transphobes, that it’s quite a shock when an article is published so clearly exposing their bullying, gaslighting, and hypocrisy!.. Read 👉🏻 archive.ph/oQ2Cs
