Snake Eyes is back and he’s a ninja this time. He already was a ninja. This time it’s with Force. Ninja Force. Every conceivable G.I.Joe element sounds like the name of an action movie you’d find on cable past the respectable hours. Always loved this look. Scarlett & Jinx are great, too.

100% this. The monoculture is truly dead. We all live in different worlds/sphere of influence. This is why the GOP attempt to center Hasan Piker has failed so spectacularly. Only chronically online degens even KNOW that name. Most people couldn't give less of a shit about some niche streamer.

the most common observation I have when I interact with people IRL is not as many people are online as we think. Chronic consumption and production of content is still alien to a lot of people!

Relative got a $500 check from US Treasury and a shocking letter full of lies signed by Trump and ending with "May God bless you". Basically a pre-electoral bribe. News reports say they're sending almost a million of these. Full text in alt below. (I told him to cash it quick before it bounces.)

if you were wondering how he only served 13 months in prison after raping multiple minors, it's because he served zero jail time for raping multiple minors. the only jail time he served was for financial crimes covering up sexually abusing children. he kept his congressional pension up to now

It’s interesting because he’s sort of a summary of the direction this has been going for several years, where straight men get deeply obsessed with impressing other straight men and nobody else (and is, as most problems are, really misogyny, plus a good dose of racism in this case)
