I have no idea what's going on, but I've been following indie wrestling long enough that if there's a dispute between Joey Janela and almost any other party, I'm gonna believe Joey. I'm 95% certain he handled whatever the situation is as professionally as possible

Just read the Reddit thread, and if that's it, goddamn dude, I already regret you getting my money. I get if people blow off a show for a WWE tryout or AEW/ROH squash or some other booking, but sometimes shit happens. You're not gonna get far with that attitude as a promoter.

Reminder: Mike Johnson is known for shielding & protecting accused pedophiles. He campaigned with notable pedophile and child pornography enthusiast, Josh Duggar. He is close with Paul Pressler, who is a SBC pastor also found of abusing minors. Standing behind a domestic abuser is on brand for him.

Mike Johnson tells Politico that he's standing behind Republican Max Miller — despite the "serious" domestic abuse allegations against him.

Congratulations to the Haley Stevens campaign on their crackerjack strategy of being super islamaphobic and weirdly antisemitic to Jewish people who disagreed with her policies

Turned it back on an he seemed to be wrapping up the segment by saying sorry for not speaking out louder against this guidance before now 👀

The government’s transphobic code of practice is now up and running. But we’re not going to stand still and take it, we're supporting a legal challenge led by a trans person and a trans inclusive organisation. But we can only do this together. Will you join us?👇 goodlaw.social/ldco

Just a reminder that: - this isn't for workplaces and if your work is trying to implement it scare them over discrimination claims - the onus is on the service provider, not the service user to comply - the code *itself* says enforcement of toilet facilities is unworkable and low priority

EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.

The media's takeaway from an El-Sayed win is the same as it would have been from a Stevens win, and the same as it will be if El-Sayed wins the general, or if he loses it: everyone, no matter who they are, needs to take several steps to the right.

A big one for anywhere actively enforcing it is how they are planning to a) 'know' and b) log someone's "birth sex", given that you can't tell by looking/hearing, asking someone in a public space could constitute a breach of someone's right to privacy, and sex is special category data under GDPR.
