IMHO if you're a generally pro-trans Dem & the GOP hits you with anti-trans attack ads, maybe don't make pronoun jokes? I still think the best response by far is to call them "weird" or "genital-inspectors" or stress the GOP wants to insert themselves into other ppl's healthcare decisions

Gina Hinojosa responds to Greg Abbott's ads hitting on her votes on transgender people by saying "My pronouns are mom/Texan and soon-to-be governor." www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u1g...

I think the worst part of Threads (although there’s a lot); is that if I post an outfit photo and say simply “looked cute today” it will take maybe 40 min tops for transphobes to find it. Not tagged with anything, not attached to any trending topics, and yet they still find em.

"You claim to hate AI, and yet you post on Bluesky, which is developed with AI!" Yeah buddy, we can tell. This app barely works most of the time because the staff are too busy banning trans women to fix the dogshit code the robot gave them

it's not an exaggeration to say that jk rowling is the world's most powerful and prominent transphobe outside of elon musk it's easy to not buy a tesla and it's easy to not watch the harry potter tv show

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

This past weekend I wore my disco cowboy duck earrings for TRANSformative Comics, my spouse looks at me as I put them on and said: “wearing the ducks? Oh! Is it because ducks come from EGGS?” No but fuck, she’s always gonna be quicker to the joke than me.

Yesterday my pal/colleague and I (along with many other absolute gems of library staff) pulled off a half-day trans/enby/gnc comic and zine fest at our central library branch. I hoped it would go well… it was PACKED, it was adored. Authors, staff, & patrons are asking about next year. 1/3

JK ROWLING: [muttering while David Zazlav paces around behind her nervously] I could see a scenario wherein a very gendersick thirty five year old person would benefit from taking estrogen.

My partner told me that at a queer variety show last night, total stranger (to them, me, us all) encouraged the host to advertise the trans comic program we have happening at the library. I’m FLABBERGASTED. It’s all I’ve wanted to talk about today, that’s nuts, love the enthusiasm but also omg?

I’m feeling ✨big feelings✨ that today is 5 years since I first publicly stated I wasn’t so sure I was a boy, maybe just not using gendered language for me would be nice… and now… now it’s been 2 years of HRT, almost a year since I changed my name… you can just do that.

A screenshot of a text post that reads: “So this is a weird post, it's good but feels weird to say outloud... I don't know how to tackle this with sincerity and not using dumb jokes. So... I just am tired of using he/him as my pronouns. It feels like an annoying”. Above the screenshot is an orange banner that reads: “5 Years Ago, Monday, 8:28 AM”Violet taking a mirror selfie wearing a beautiful light blue tea dress, it has a purple floral repeating pattern on it.
