Here for Our Flag Means Death. Tail-end of Gen X. There may be occasional wierdness and random acts of drag.

Bluesky is acting up with me attaching additional word blocks to this post, so I’m going to post this via a picture with alt text for those who require it. Because today’s behavior has been appalling. I’m ashamed of the actions people have taken when it comes to herd mentality and attacking others.

I really don't understand how so many
'caring' people are able to just sit there and accuse others, without hearing both sides.
My friend was accused of Al because ot a genuine style. He's shared livestreams before. He's made art from a completely empty canvas in front of me and others. Yet, people can't stop to consider both sides. They jumped to accusing him. He's shared his process from the ground up before. He's shown sketches including just the basic shapes before his art is made.
He's shown it zoomed in where his own errors show through. He's even shown how his style has changed over the years with his old art example vs newer ones. You can see the same style, just more practiced and polished with time. Yet, people keep going.
He was already driven away from collages and latch hook rugs. Now he's been driven from digital art, too. Congratulations.

You wrongly accuse someone of AI then make this threat? This is legally extortion. Threatening someone to get money, otherwise share (false) information about them. This isn’t asking a refund. This is different. This isn’t okay.

Another artwork of Stede and Ed cuddling. This time in human form. Besides OtterFlag, I have idea of a Modern OFMD AU going on, featuring origami, kind eyed horses and pygmy goats. I like to think of Ed as a skilled origami enthusiast. It helps him relax.

Will I ever finish painting this?? Who can say!?! I eventually have to actually paint the two little fellas in the center, but I am unfortunately a person who cannot be made to finish anything. 🤷🏻‍♀️ pretty sure it’s been sitting around in various states of completion for over a year.

Photo of painting in progress. Ed and Merstede underwater surrounded by a red silk ribbon. The silk continues wrapping around them and downward, where an image of their clasped hands appears beneath.

From April 22,2022 In honor of @david-jenkins.bsky.social appreciation day, back when twitter could still be a place for meaningful conversation. I was very touched by his response and four years later I’m still grateful for this show. As Con said, it was made with kindness and the Captain made it so
