Bing bong. Bing bong bong Bing bong.
one useful thing about JD Vance is that he proves there’s no “going back to normal” after Trump. Vance is the future of the GOP and that future is a party that revels in being Truly Fucking Awful. the whole shtick is just being A Really Bad Guy and then going “oh are you triggered by how Bad I am?”
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.
Shitbag Trump, Jeffrey Epstein’s best friend, who was found liable for sexual abuse / rape in court, sanctioned the ICC because the Nobel Peace Prize went to Navi Pillay, a former ICC judge who helped establish rape as an act of genocide. Let that sink in. Rubio fully complicit.
The pro life party wants you to know you can watch a livestream of a firing squad killing a man for your entertainment.
My DCEU & DCU ranking rn 1. Peacemaker (Both Seasons) 2. Superman 3. Lanterns 4. The Suicide Squad 5. Creature Commandos 6. Shazam 7. Blue Beetle 8. Shazam 2 9. Wonder Woman 10. BoP 11. Aquaman 12. Supergirl 13. Aquaman 2 14. BvS 15. The Flash 16. MoS 17. WW84 18. ZSJL 19. Squad 2016 20. Black Adam
Lanterns was excellent. Didn't really think they'd stick the landing tbh but it was a fascinating ending. No action, no huge cliffhanger ending, the twists weren't done as reaction bait. It was focused around a moral dilemma. An exceptionally dark one.
Part of why I don't like the AI-or-bust economy is the constant flopsweat of people on the news who say this HAS to work. Quit making everyone so anxious. Goddamn. If this is the next Google then why are you acting like this? I don't remember being told to buy an iPhone at gunpoint.
God Supergirl does not work. Its so close to being there but it just isn't
The reason why people think Dolly was “politically neutral” is because they don’t understand being political as a series of actions born of commitment to an idea. Being political as defined by the pundit class is to be in front of a microphone delivering sound bytes, it’s something to be devoured
Look, are we the laughing stock of the world? Yes. Are we losing a war we should’ve never started? Yes. Is all our food poison now? Yes. Are all the jobs going away? Yes. But the important thing is a blue-haired college student I made up in my head feels bad about memes.
It's so fucked up that the fandom fucking ignored Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man run because it was such a full hearted attempt to reconcile all the character growth he had gone through during the marriage era and the like man child regression he had gone through post-OMD.
Putting your Letterboxd on shuffle honestly creates some wild results. Like imagine this marathon 💀
We can choose who we want to be. We can live the life we imagine. This is the lesson. That name doesn't belong to the blood line only it's become a symbol. An aspiration. Rey taking this name is a pledge for the future. Kids get it. Most of us get it. Haters kind of want to hate it. And so it is. 💙
The third act of The Empire Strikes Back is the root cause of the rift in the Star Wars fandom.
Star Wars fans need to realize Star Wars is not special or different from any other franchise It is no different from Star Trek or Alien or Power Rangers It is a brand, at the end of the day. It is a toy at the end of the day And it crossing over with Marvel, another toy, is not some abomination
The best thing about The Odyssey is it's making casuals realize that all those accounts that they retweeted in 2017 about Last Jedi are in fact antisocial anti-women racist fucking freaks.
“Look what you made me do.” It’s abuser culture all the way up and down.
Homan on people getting killed by ICE: "It comes down to one simple fact -- these people failed to comply with law enforcement ... all they had to do is comply. If they did, they'd be alive today."
90% of modern media criticism just sounds like this

oh you thought you were a writer? no your job is making little videos about writing now. you take photos? nah you make videos about taking photos. painter? you make li
The best breakdown of the film itself and *gestures at the last 40+ years of discourse being broken* I've heard.
You might’ve noticed that the show is back. Is it a review? Nope! Is it a full return? Not sure! Will there be clips and shorts for this episode? Absolutely not! 🥳 Apple: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/a...
How Marvel systematically dumbed down Spider-Man over the decades needs to be studied. A few weeks back I was re-reading some early Big Time era stories but now I'm going back to the 80s Roger Stern stuff... And I don't even hate Dan Slott or the Big Time era but Jesus fuck is it night and day.
Me going into the theater to see The Clone Wars movie vs. Me leaving the theater after seeing The Mandalorian and Grogu
On Mando and Grogu eve, my 10 favorite Star Wars stories at this moment in my life: 10. Attack of the Clones
Television being able to elevate its visual possibilities - from special effects to costuming & stunts - to a theatrical level of quality over the past 10 years has corrupted audiences being able to appreciate a theatrical experience, where a lazy criticism has become “It looks like a TV show.”

I think the reason I've been a little ambiently mad all day is because January 6th rioters are statistically the most likely group of pedophiles in the world and they clubbed a guy to death and they're going to be rich from the tax money that I give to the country I live in.
