I hate reviewing AI generated code when I know the dev didn’t read it
When writing about Property-Based testing, I found they were much more solid and comprehensive than usual tests, due to their more general (properties vs examples). They weren’t used because they felt more complex and time-intensive to write, despite being shorter and having to change them less.

A BIG difference w AI agents: they will write more code, faster than before, and ship a LOT more code to prod! So ship more bugs as well. Software engineers (not AI engineers) will build o11y solutions to solve for this!

I used to work in a refrigerated warehouse. I’ll never forget the smell of a truckload of frozen chicken that had thawed during shipping. Every pallet was dripping chicken juice - the floor was slick with it. A food inspector rejected the load, which otherwise would have gone to stores for sale.

There are 33m companies in the USA. Only 21k employe 500 or more. And they only make up 23% of workers. Trump and Elon are ignoring the more than 32m entrepreneurs that can't afford to build a new factory or pay tariffs or absorb cancelled contracts.

It’s on Render where 500GB/month included, above it’s $30 per 100GB. Meta’s AI crawler + other bots have pushed it to 700GB+ per month WTH
