Such a short-sighted & disappointing decision. People complain about the unhoused folks already living in the area & then in the same breath denounce non-market housing. This location is an industrial area. The lot doesn't border residential homes. What are we even doing here.

Also of note, Dzsurdzsa was one of the big names pushing all of the anti-trans nonsense in the wake of the Tumbler Ridge shooting

24 rent-geared-to-income units! Remaining units below market! This project has been languishing since 2020. Realistically, tenants won't move in until 2028-2030. I'm happy for this project but it shouldn't take 10 years to get people a home. Yes, Lisa Muri was the lone no vote.

Drivers are constantly speeding, disregarding signals and people in crossings. Some of the worst infrastructure going and I doubt anything will change.
