I started language school last week (mid-level Japanese). The first week was a bit chaotic but this week has been pretty solid and I’m really enjoying it! I can’t believe how much my listening skills have improved already.
Concert treasures ✨ Concerts in Japan often have special confetti strips you can catch during the finale, and some stores sell plastic sleeves for turning them into keychains!

Everybody in the "climate space" (which means everyone on earth...) needs to understand these mind-blowing figures. Google's "total electricity consumption jumped from 31 terawatt hours (TWh) in 2024 to 43 TWh in 2025." In ONE year. The AI corporate arms race is eating the world.
NEW BLOG FOR YOU Google's energy consumption numbers in their new climate report are mind-blowing. 2 years ago they flipped from linear to exponential growth, and their climate impact is blowing out, too. A WILD testament to the obscene bloat and waste of GenAI: ketanjoshi.co/2026/07/01/g...

I'm happy to announce that I'm working on a prototype for 'The Ropeway' with funding from Screen Queensland! My wonderful wife Mei-Li is producing and the excellent Launchable Socks will be working on sound design and music. Below is a quick demonstration of the pulley and constraint mechanic.
Unpacking will be leaving @gamepass.xbox.com at the end of this month, so you have just under two weeks to get to it if it’s been sitting in your “to play” list! Head here to play: www.xbox.com/en-US/games/...
As I see more friends fall victim to this discord hack, I remind people that if someone asks you to download their new game out of the blue, right now, because it will only take a couple minutes, after "catching up" for a minute It's a hack, and they will take over once you download that file.
BREAKING: Several Xbox studios, including Compulsion, Ninja Theory and Double Fine, are negotiating with Xbox as they try to avoid closure. Some or all could spin off. Lots still in flux as many studios remain unsure about what's happening. Here's the latest: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Don’t ban kids using YouTube. Make YouTube behave like a broadcaster. Pay creators. Reinvest in the creative industries. Pay fair tax back into creators’ economies. Follow guidelines on fair usage and copyright. Play fair. It’s bigger than TV now. Make it behave like TV.
Love to find out that our aircon is not only broken but actually so old and busted that it needs to be fully replaced, inside and outside unit, as we approach mid June in Tokyo
Honestly, when the Paralives team sent me screenshots of the house from the final level of Unpacking so lovingly recreated in their game I got a little emotional. They nailed it.
There's many ways to incorporate the new Unpacking items in @Paralives.com but what if we started by recreating the final house? Here's a few peeks at rooms you should recognize!
