I wish JustWatch or similar platforms could let me select "any" as a country so that I can know if my VPN gets me streaming access anywhere. Sometimes the answer is yes, but it's quite annoying to find.

I see we're doing another round of discourse about daylight savings in which morning people think they deserve 5am daylight more than the half of the population who works past sunset. Schools can just start a little later! My high school changed their start time like three times in four years!

I think the proposal is serious and well-reasoned, and the hate this is getting is coming from a place so untethered from reality. People who think we can "turn off" AI are actively arguing against a growing movement to nationalize it, overwhelmingly the one and only good option available to us.

It'd be nice if people actually read what Sanders' proposal is about: It's about putting half of the big AI companies' stock into an independent national fund. Independence really means designed to minimize the possibility of popular control. President nominates and senate confirms board members.
