Basically everyone who has contact with the DWP has a story like this. They exist to make the lives of disabled people & those who care for them harder, any money you get from them is against their will. If you say the system is unfair to anyone but those not using it you are branded as out of touch

It’s important to note “those with the most severe and debilitating disabilities would not lose any money.” But we know too often state tests are not accurate in judging “severe”, just as we know people with less severe conditions still face vast expenses and discrimination.

Disability doesn’t care how old you are. Specialist food is no cheaper if you’re 19. Employers don’t lose their prejudice if you’re 21. This is blatant intergenerational inequality from Labour. Younger disabled people of all severities deserve better. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

There are really good reasons *not* to do it, but both this Labour government and the last are hamstrung by the inability to just clearly state 'Donald Trump is bad and has bad consequences'.

The BBC news summary this morning went seamlessly from "critics warn PM scrapping triple lock would be electoral suicide" to "critics ask if PM has nerve to make tough decisions" and I don't think it's a particularly pro Burnham stance to suggest he might not be the entire problem here.

I definitely getting the vibe that Labour will run on Rejoin the EU in some manner. *Unsure* if this will mean a Rejoin referendum or just rejoin via a GE... Or maybe compromise and have a GE coincide with a referendum lol.

Hard to tell if there's really anything new to this reporting on UK-EU relations, wait for tomorrow but quite possible the conversation is at most inching forwards while claiming boldness. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

It will never not be wild to me that the Russians attacked Keir Starmer's home, successfully spread falsehoods about Starmer's love life, and this didn't changed British politics and British political elite behaviour *at all*.

7-year sentence handed down to Oleg Bessedin for anti-Estonia activities. Work for russian SVR, pay the price. His handler Sergei Nalobin is, among other things, releted to Brexit campaign and arson of the home of British PM K.Starmer. news.err.ee/1610150341/7...
