Maybe this is the weirdness of a primary, but the conventional wisdom of Michigan politics is that Grand Rapids (where I live) is conservative, while Detroit and SE MI is much further left. But yesterday Detroit and the suburb counties went +6-7 for Stevens, while Kent (GR) went +26 for Al-Sayed.
