I know two highly skilled top notch nurses who quit their jobs after the pandemic began to diminish. Both say “never again”. The abuse they endured from crazed MAGAs was terrible. They completely destroyed their compassion and empathy for people so it was time to quit.

So, the security guard at my old job died and a bunch of my old coworkers went to the funeral. Apparently, the funeral was 2 hours late and the family started arguing to the point of pulling guns on one another

Actually disgusting that nurses were treated like utter shit, overworked and dying during the pandemic and now RFK is on TV telling everyone that didn't happen. I can't even imagine a more thankless, hostile job right now.

I had two people stand up at my wedding on my side. One is dead, the other is dead to me after he started ratcheting up his bigotry & misogyny after 2015.

A really gross part of fight sport is how the cultivation of skill and a capable athletic body is how it usually leads to fascist thinking. "You did this all on your own & you have found the power that was in you the whole time."

My neighbor across the street got burglarized and he said the cops literally said "we're on to these guys" after saying "they've hit 20 houses in the area" and then he asked why they were able to hit 20 houses if the cops were "on to these guys" and that was the end of the investigation lol
