dannng - ever done that thing where you use a static c# class as a manager - but then it needs an Update() cycle so you have to spawn a stupid empty GameObject that literally only exists to call update and It feels kinda ugly? You can just use Awaitable now and make your own update loop. crazy

It's the job of the screen to serve the content, not the content's job to serve your screen. Content needs to punish the screen for foolishly thinking it has any say in this.

i'm actually not joking when i say this: if you don't have at least one indefensibly insane position about what a game should always have or never have you won't be as good of a designer. that is part of having taste
