Another custom @timberborn.bsky.social Folktails playthrough has ended. 73 WB without making any 🦫bots. I'll probably do an iron teeth playthrough next using the map edits I made after starting the last colony. Original design made it impossible to harvest scrap. Oops.

A starry night scene in Timberborn, at the completion of a recent playthrough on a custom map (as I always play on). The Earth Recultivator, looking like a head of garlic atop a half-oval and round base, which itself is built atop a series of platforms, and precariously balanced on a single stack of 1x3 wood platforms. Surrounding it on the slope of the central mountain are zipline towers (it was a Folktails playthrough, after all), water pumps and storage tanks, stacked lodge housing with various wellbeing decorations amd monuments adorning it (rooftops, a weathervane, lampposts, a scarecrow, etc.), as well the dance hall. Mature oak trees line the edges and slopes of the mountaintop water course, with floodgates in the rear areas monitoring flow to the lower lands for the unseen farms while holing back enough water for the several Lido swimming and relaxation spots. Large wooden wind turbines can be seen in the distance, along the back corner of the map, powering similarly unseen food production industry.Custom base map edited after starting the last playthrough. Looking at the map from overhead at a 45 degree rotation. At top is a badwater system. To the right side is a plethora of scrap resources and dead oak trees, both very helpful of you can reach them through the abundant thorns. The main aater sources are atop a mountain, with a water course circling counterclockwise to a waterfall at the left, diving into a river that leads to the edge of the map on the right. While the map is about 50% green arable land, most of it is on the steps and slope of the mountain. Happy farming!
