They're scientifically meaningless. Sex is a bimodal cluster categorization. The brain is biological, no? There is no one factor that's universally determinative of sex and gender.

The claim “RFK Jr. does not fuck chickens” is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that RFK Jr. fucks chickens.
I’m hard pressed to come up with any single thing that has been studied as much as vaccines & autism (vaxx safety in general), or as debunked as a link between vaccines & autism. But even more striking is how these people clearly think autism is worse than your child getting a disease or even dying

The anti trans crowd was outraged by this study because it included clinicians who actually practice gender affirming care. Yet another systematic review that follows Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Utah, and Louisiana that finds this care is safe and effective with rare regret.

It's not appropriate for cis people to say that trans people are too alarmed, or that certain trans writers are irresponsibly causing trans people to think the sky is falling. I want to take some time in this 🧵 to write personally about how my skies have fallen.
Setting aside the bullshit framing, the 'taking out all the things like hair' part, etc... even on its own terms, a 96 to 98% accuracy compared to <1% of people being transgender is not making the point she thinks she's making

My only take on the transexual/transgender discourse is that I'm a transgender transexual, neither of those is inherently more valid, and I have very little time for people who assume any kind of hierarchy of "proper" transnness

I get the impression that some people aren't clear what this means. This is the UK state deciding to intervene directly in the healthcare of individual children, depriving them of medicine that their doctors have prescribed for their personal health & wellbeing, in defiance of global best practice.

These letters tell people that endocrine care (blockers / HRT) is being fully withdrawn in 7 weeks time (July 31st). Forced medical detransition. This country is a danger to trans children & young people.
A surprisingly close second to the ghoulishness of throwing trans people and our rights under the bus is the absurdity of thinking it's good political strategy

EHRC Code: 1. The point of the Equality Act was to prevent discrimination. So if you were discriminated against, you had (in most cases) a route to make a complaint, the law to back you up and a route to make inequality expensive enough that most companies complied (to some extent).

How do you *not* have a gender identity? I'm genuinely confused at what they even mean by this - though I do quite like the implication that the gender binary should be abolished, that gender is fluid and subject to multiple identifications, etc. that's what they're saying, right? right?
