she/her, NY my attention to detail is so detailed

Last week the lady my wife walks with in the morning noticed I had some ripe tomatoes and said hers weren't even close. She said she was dying for a bacon and fresh tomato sandwich. So I gave her some. Today she brought me homemade pie to say thanks! Breakfast taken care of 😂 😋

Two pieces of pie. One is blueberry and the other sour cherry

A really funny complaint about the Zohran discount grocery store idea is that non-poor people could use it when there’s a grocery store half a mile from my grocery store that has everything cost 20% more that rich people go to because they don’t want to shop with normal people.

The media's takeaway from an El-Sayed win is the same as it would have been from a Stevens win, and the same as it will be if El-Sayed wins the general, or if he loses it: everyone, no matter who they are, needs to take several steps to the right.

You start to notice something of a pattern. Establishment Democratic voices fearmongering over the Left consistently deny genocide, constantly use AI, rely on fat/homophobic and ableist attacks against Trump and MAGA, and are largely silent about protecting gay and trans people.

The road to fascism was paved with "Reddit atheist" and "shrill feminist" and "blue hair and pronouns". The vanguard wasn't the rabid reactionaries. It was the "normals", "apoliticals", who tolerate occasional sexist comments but mock the "cringe" of well-meaning and earnest but awkward people.

ivehad my fair share of fights with artists, i mean Kathleen :Black Card” Horowitz OOPS did i tell a big secret? you mean ypou didmnt KNPW she had a HUGE bunch of property? a Centurion card and summers in the Hamptons? oops…well lets just pretend shes Julie ruin

We reached pure simulacrum long ago but Courtney Love shilling on social media looking loaded full of Prozac telling kids to buy tickets to The Live Nation Lollapalooza Experience™️ if they want to be cool feels excruciatingly pointed.

Probably a good time for people to consider their media diet. Are the people you listen to using AI? Covering for a genocide or ignoring it? Telling trans people to be quiet? Peddling open Islamaphobia? Ceaselessly self-promoting? Offering dogshit "analysis" designed only to make you feel better?

The president took on a vanity project, gave no-bid contracts to contractors who screwed it up, made up a story about vandals to cover it up, and then fomented a felony prosecution against an innocent scapegoat. You could impeach for anything he's done but "This asshole is out of control" is a layup

When you slow down and think about it you realize it's ten times worse than it seems. Sure it's farcical, but it's also a brutal legal attack on a man they knew to be innocent, done to distract from their own thievery and incompetence and as a flex to terrify anyone who might make them look bad.

I feel like they're tempting fate way too overtly at this point, it's like they're actively trying to summon a worse-than-COVID pandemic within the next two years that they can respond to by telling people to go to Applebee's and not listen to the crazy hippies in hysterics over the piles of bodies.

BASH: How do you prepare for next pandemic? RFK Jr: We did almost everything wrong B: But what about now? K: We need to protect our rights B: ? K: During covid we dismantled our rights B: But I'm asking what *to* do K: You were part of the problem B: You want to sit here and attack me?

"Twitter is so crazy and bad now"-posting is a daily thing on here and a foundational part of the Bluesky culture but I still think it understates the case and the degree to which that site is just a feral mass of bloodthirsty rage zombies at this point.
