If you were not already primed to see every instance of antisemitism in the UK as leading back to the wellspring of Jeremy Corbyn, is this the conclusion you would naturally reach?
As I've said, these people have to believe this. They have to believe that their behaviour during the period 2015-19 was all in service of defeating a world historic evil that outclassed Hitler himself. Because if that's not true, well, what would the average person conclude, when faced with this?

It does seem odd that Epstein was able to directly suborn at least one serving government minister, while flying his private plane in and out of military bases in Britain and visiting e.g. Buckingham Palace and one of the royal family’s private retreats. Presumably nothing dodgy going on there.

Why was the UK Establishment so keen on everyone going to university and now so keen to reduce enrolment? Making everyone indebted and reducing unemployment stats was a big part, but I think mainly they believed it'd make everyone as selfish as them. It hasn't worked so they've changed course.

The fact that being a corporate lobbyist doesn’t automatically disqualify you for any government position is itself a fatal flaw in the UK’s system, which instead seems to constantly reward such backgrounds with even more power

She spent her final weeks in office ripping down controls on industrial chicken farming, which destroys our rivers. She did so at the behest of corporate lobbyists. Her job before joining the government? Corporate lobbyist.
This is very different to e.g. Farage accepting five million pounds from shady criminals with unknown motives. For a start, Farage’s services are hugely more expensive.
The thing with this is that it's both very bad and completely unsurprising to anyone who'd actually care so there's no chance it would spur any pressure to improve British journalism.
