🎥 Israel strikes medical warehouse, displacement tents in Gaza

An Israeli strike destroyed two central medicine warehouses at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, including critical supplies and equipment for kidney dialysis on Saturday.

Hospital director Raed Hussein told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah the attack would severely undermine the hospital's ability to provide care, saying, “The damage is even greater, the disaster is even more severe, and it will make it much harder for us to respond in the coming period.”

The strike also destroyed tents sheltering displaced Palestinian families, along with their food, water, and belongings. “Today, we have no shelter. I don't even know what to say anymore,” said Fatima Sharab.

“The mattresses, blankets we'd managed to gather after losing them 15 times, they're gone again. What is left after this?”

The band in Tompkin's Square today was remarkably good, so I ask who these middle-aged guys are, and it's Ted Leo &, and Ted Leo starts keeping time with the mic against his head, and I think Ah, a sly reference to wilder punk days of long gone youth, until blood starts dripping down his forehead.

Ah, this warms the cockles of my cold, dead heart. Wait til you see the price a TERF had to pay for lying about a trans woman. "...also be required to publish a court-approved apology that must remain pinned on their social media channels for three months" www.lgbtqnation.com/2026/07/an-a...

"Nothing Moves the Needle." For me, this is one of the most successful attempts to explain what's happened to the fourth estate as Trump and his movement try to wreck it. The essay is long, but worth it for the way writer Craig Unger @craigunger.bsky.social redescribes the crisis in journalism.

" the 1997 Leahy Laws prohibit U.S. aid to any foreign military forces guilty of “gross violations of human rights,” but despite an investigation, as well as innumerable other abuses by Israeli forces in Palestine, they have not been enforced."

"Much of the escalation no longer requires secrecy – it is photographed, filmed, and disseminated by its own perpetrators, turning the thousands of members of Israeli society who daily consume and share the footage into co-participants." www.thekeymagazine.com/p/israel-rap...

13. Hence our dismal conclusion: rather than finding that LLMs free us to do a better job of what we were doing before they came along, they shift scientific incentives (and the playing field of academic competition) in ways that compel us to do more and more, faster and faster, less and less well.

🚨 BREAKING: A UN Independent Commission has concluded that Israeli authorities continue to commit genocide in Gaza, citing the deliberate targeting of Palestinian children as key evidence of genocidal intent.
