Generating more code is never and has never been signs of success in engineering. Generating the least amount of clear and maintainable code is always the answer. I know this context is a little different but I’m triggered.

there was a 1936 proposal to build a concrete ramp structure up to the midpoint of the eiffel tower so you could drive up it. and i, for one, think it’s a shame that there was never a trend of making world monuments more car-accessible.
Solarpunk gets a bad rap, but I'm hard pressed to think of another contemporary genre that's actually imagining hopeful futures. Everything else just seems to assume that Things Will Continue to Get Worse (and frankly, I don't know if I can blame them)
