And I actually appreciate how angry voters were about Bennet’s confirmation votes. But the reason Phil won was because he made sure people knew Bennet was insufficiently anti-Republican and the Julie ran against oligarchs.
Chase had to uses percentages to make Hickenlooper’s 12 votes for Trump cabinet appointees sound catastrophic and all it did was put the more conservative primary candidate in the governors mansion.
Once again I’m reminding everyone that Hickenlooper tried to convince Joe Manchin to drop the filibuster to renew the VRA and never sabotaged a caucus vote because he’s not a wrecker.

Higher corporate taxes to pay for military readiness would be the sound policy but we’ve elected a lot of people who believe our military is too well funded. And the right for some reason gets to be portrayed by the chattering class as the party of peace.

I think a lot of people have severely overreacted to very early returns in this MI-Sen primary. But I’ve kept my cool, because I always believed DemocraticCandidate would win in the end and my plans to support DemocraticCandidate through November remain unchanged.
