Turns out it was a Mike Minogue fundraiser. It confirmed my initial reaction that only a douchebag would drive such a vehicle. I'm sure the guy does a lot of off-roading in it...

This is wonderful.

We were both waiting to pick up takeout sushi, and she had recently tried biking to work at City Hall. We shared how exposed you feel when a truck barrels by with only a line of paint between. 1x
The median newspaper columnist writing about bike infrastructure is like, "I once had to park 150 feet away from the coffee shop so I talked to 2 other drivers, a failing restaurant owner, and a person who once saw a cyclist run a stop sign about how bike lanes ruined our lives."

Mike Brohel has ignored my dozen or so emails I’ve sent since March asking when the bike lanes in Allston-Brighton will have their protective barrier restored after being destroyed by snow plows. This comes as no surprise.
