We go hard on it being a sitcom about autism by autistic ppl* bc it's a genuine USP, BUT ANOTHER unique thing about it is it's a F written, F led fantasy urban quest adventure sitcom & those are also pretty rare * & 1 person (me) who identifies as 'not sure but haha I have a LOT of sensory issues'
And literally none of his companies have done anything but decline and fail to generate even 1/50th the revenue to justify their "value." The richest man in history has gotten there basically with endless failed promises that in 2 years he'd harvest the raw wealth of the entire universe.
for reference and comparison: conservatively, the United States spent two-thirds of that figure in the *first week* of the war on Iran. it's genuinely difficult to overstate how many world-historical own goals US politics has accumulated over the past few decades

Again, I'm just describing the situation. If we want to transform it, there's pretty much only one thing for converts to do: shut the fuck up and listen. But even that might be too much to ask.
This is, for Freire, a sign of our supposed "allies" inability to trust us. Because they can't or won't trust not only that we know something, but that our knowledge is valuable, they're fundamentally incapable of being in solidarity with us. This, in turn, fractures our trust in our allies.
What we're seeing in the "don't sign up for protests" discourse is what Paulo Freire described as the convert's failure to trust the knowledge of the oppressed. As the convert tries to stand in solidarity with the oppressed, they refuse to let go of a world where they were the authority by default.
