If you're going to Aberystwyth Comedy Festival you can buy tickets for the Comedy Lab Cymru showcase right here. Very much only posting this to strike fear into my own heart and to make sure my script is good, but you don't need to worry about that side of it, that's entirely my responsibility

Thrilled to be selected for Comedy Lab Cymru 🥳 🥳 🥳 nation.cymru/culture/six-...

A picture of my face followed by the words:

Cameron Loxdale is a comedy writer and script editor from Swansea who has written for many shows across TV and radio including two series of Kat Sadler’s Screen Time on BBC Radio 4.

He is the script editor for BAFTA-winning sitcom Such Brave Girls and Celtic Media award-winning panel show What Just Happened?. He’s excited to use this opportunity to develop his own solo scripted projects, meet the other talented writers and finally vanquish his army of haters.

Cameron said he is “Delighted to let the scientists in the Comedy Lab do whatever experiments they want on my mind and body. Together we will find a cure for comedy.”

I might start announcing where I’ve cried like this too. “Anna performed two cries today. One was regarding a sad-looking seagull she saw outside some locked bins, and the other was because she walked past a bar playing “My Heart Will Go On” and it caught her off guard”

A screenshot of a Facebook post by Preston City Council. The post has a photo of a town crier ringing their bell outside Preston market, specifically by the Wallace and Gromit bench (which is not relevant, I just think it’s nice).

The text on the post reads:

Today Preston's town crier performed two cries at
Preston Markets.
The cry seen here is regarding Preston and the second cry was regarding Preston Markets specifically.
Head over to @prestonmarkets to hear the second cry.

Had some postcards printed of some of my horrible doodles/ paintings. If you fancy any, I shall be dragging them up to the Edinburgh Fringe next week. If you don’t fancy them, they shall be turning up on your doorstep anyhow, like that book in The Babadook.

Four postcards on a kitchen counter, each of the postcards with a different design.

Top left is a yellow postcard with a drawing of a smiling slug holding a banner which reads “hello”. The slug has a lovely toothy smile.

Top right is a red postcard with a drawing of a ferret with an arrow pointing to it and text which reads “FERRET”

Bottom right is a black postcard with a design that looks like there’s a pile of neon, spikey cardboard stars on it. On top of the pile is a painting of a slug I did. The slug is smiling and has beautiful big red lips. There’s text next to the slug which reads “SLUG!”

Bottom left is a blue postcard with an acrylic painting of what a horrible little creature that looks like a potato with toes. I cannot go into more detail without ruining a joke from my show.

Thoroughly enjoyed writing this listicle thing for @lmaonaise.bsky.social I reckon it will become the next 'Let Them Theory' book thing. Business gurus everywhere will be queuing up to read this article (which is daft as it's available to read for free right now on the blooming LMAOnaise website)

A photo of me looking shocked with a teddy of a white ferret on my shoulder. Above me is the LMAOnaise logo, and text below me reads “ANNA THOMAS. SEVEN THINGS I’D DO IF I HAD THE POWER OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK”A photo of me looking shocked with a teddy of a white ferret on my shoulder. Above me is the LMAOnaise logo, and text below me reads: “Once I’m done eating the bugs, I’d probably proceed to carry my house around with me like a classy little evening clutch bug”
