for some reason my brain is structurally incapable of differentiating between the names Ray Blanchard and Roy Beatty, whenever anyone mentions one of them I have to consciously take a second to be like “wait, is that the guy who’s shitty about trans people or the bad guy in Blade Runner?”
Per CDC data (so, US-only and also undercounting) the number of deaths attributed to COVID on the death certificate thus far in 2026 alone (again, a metric that undercounts) is several times higher than the number of people who died in the 9/11 attacks.

Is Flock the only mass surveillance tool/network that people should be worried about? No. But it is an entry point for people from all walks of life to the fight against mass surveillance and I'm glad people are paying attention and taking action.

This week I have received: A missed phone call which meant I received a recorded message from Chlöe Swarbrick to ask what matters to me most this election A letter from my local National MP telling me how important it is to be registered to vote One wants change. One wants wealthy people to vote.
Then STAR arrived. Every state school now runs an attendance plan with escalating thresholds, weekly data to the Ministry, and prosecution at the end of the pathway. The marginal sick day became institutionally expensive for the family sensible enough to take it. 4/
