Personally I would not pick this fight with the youtube guy who demonstrates all the ways he can nail you with an arrow at 200 yards using his feet while wearing 12-inch Pleasers, whose wife can also kill you with her bare hands, and has 9 billionteen followers who are all trans women with swords.

Blumineck lo ha vuelto a hacer 🥹 le aplaudo hasta que se me caigan las manos, bravo. "Be masculine, be feminine, be neither, or be both. But be kind."

Feels like there's something about nursing where most of them are the hardest working, most helpful and caring people you could possibly imagine and the rest are absolutely awful woowoo antivax bigots. Is there really no middle ground or are there "job's a job" neutral nurses flying under the radar?

I can't believe Travis decided to do a /r/showerthoughts bit two episodes in a row now. Next MBMBaM he'll be like "Do you think Pavlov thought about feeding his dog every time someone rang a bell?"

By "ban on chatbot interfaces" I mean: - A computer program shall never refer to itself in the first person or attempt to seem conversational - A computer program shall never attempt to provide surrogate human interaction (advice, pseudo-therapy, friendship, etc) in a real-world context

Honestly a serious proposal for AI regulation would be something like: 1. ban on new gas turbines or other onsite fossil generation. 2. moratorium on new GPU capacity in data centers 3. severe privacy protections, with auditing requirements, for SaaS consumer products 4. ban on chatbot interfaces

Genuinely heartening to see a bunch of people throw away the opportunity for basically the rockstar dream in order to stand on their principles. More of that and we'd be in a much better place. Hell, we'd be able to go around the bigots and make our own rockstar dreams.

Ms. Rachel: "Ed Sheeran had an opportunity…Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows." "If more than 20,000 white children were killed…everyone would be shouting…Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral."

Ms. Rachel post:
"Ed Sheeran had an opportunity show that we won't be bullied into punishing people for supporting Palestine. Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows. A genocide is happening in Gaza. We all need to speak out against it.

"If more than 20,000 white children were killed in another part of the world, everyone would be shouting about it at their concerts. Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral."

New: Macklemore says Robert Kraft — who owns Gillette Stadium, where Macklemore & Ed Sheeran were to perform later this month — called Sheeran. Kraft rallied other owners together behind an ultimatum for Sheeran: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you won't be allowed in our venues.

I'm not sure how to start this. So I'm going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour.
But before I get into it, I want to say something that should be obvious. In this moment I think it matters. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families.

The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone. People are being killed today, and people will be killed tomorrow. I want to make sure that as I tell this story, we don't lose sight of that.

Ed is my friend. I've known him for 13 years. We've shared late nights, studio sessions and stages. He has this infectious magic about him that I've grown to love. I consider him a brother. And because of that, we've had some difficult conversations this past week. The type of talks rooted in love and respect for one another that still end in a place of fundamental disagreement. Nothing I'm writing here is out of spite or because I want to tear down his character. But as I told Ed multiple times on the phone, our friendship can't change my responsibility to tell the truth about what happened.

Last Monday, in the middle of all the media attention surrounding Pink and what I said at MetLife, Ed told me that Robert Kraft called him. We were scheduled to play Gillette Stadium later this month, which is owned by the Kraft Group. Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium. Ed also told me that Kraft had rallied some of the other
stadium owners and collectively they gave him an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.

Ed was in …

ME: *writing in my journal with the sole aim of pissing off future historians and archaeologists* I returned to my home - which is built in the usual style - by the normal way, and prepared and ate dinner in the way I often but not always do

It's kind of wild how much blood thinners change the way you bruise. I used to barely bruise at all, now a light bump has my whole shoulder yellow for like a couple weeks.

I don't want there to be sides. I want it to be the humans vs the antihumans, and I don't want us to fight among ourselves. But the fucking second YOU make the dividing line trans people, it's us against you motherfucker. I'll take one trans person over a million of you. Fuck you.
