On 7 October, a video shared by Stand Up to Racism Scotland, with the caption This is what happens when you keep telling racists that they have "legitimate concerns"... appeared to show a group of black-clad men ‘patrolling’ the streets of Glasgow while making racist threats.
There is a Reclaim the Night protest organised in Glasgow for Monday. There are many local grassroots organisations and unions all pitching in. There has been nothing but the chirping of crickets from any of the TERF orgs who have vast wealth behind them. I need cis folks to understand this.
A fascinating editorial decision from the BBC, to make the headline a scaremongering “AUTISM AND ADHD ARE BEING OVERDIAGNOSED”, and then, four bullet points later, have the author of the report quoted as essentially saying “nah, that’s bullshit, actually”.
The graphs in the very article show that diagnoses were around 0 to 1 percent in 2000 and have risen to a STAGGERING…. uh, 4 to 5 percent. A reasonable person might attribute this rise to the phenomenon known as: “we began diagnosing people.”
