Using LLM-based products like chatGPT doesn't make you "understand AI" any more than smoking crack improves your knowledge of pharmacology. The technology is inherently misleading and self-propagandizing, it's a pump for exploiting user bias.

Watching fascists utilize free speech, free assembly, tolerance, and the vestiges of democracy that exist in this country, to weasel their way into power just so they could take away all those exact things (and more) has been one of the most horrifyingly fascinating things of the last two decades.

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.
