I'm not here for people defending Mark Carney's praise of John A. MacDonald and Samuel de Champlain. Or his use of the terms "blood" and "soil" in speeches. If you don't grasp why these things are problematic because of how they sound to white nationalists and Indigenous folks, that's your problem.
