at this point unless you call it a genocide and sign onto Block the Bombs as a bare minimum, you will not get the benefit of the doubt, and it may cost you your primary. and we should be working towards making that minimum more exacting, not less, until we cut them off.
My main takeaway from Tuesday, being outside NY: we need to identify the opportunities, short and long term, for a left ecosystem and run at them with all we've got. If big money is coming to eat our lunch, we have to solidify gains now and start preparing for the terrain to shift.

I literally just read this article about the impacts/risks of Mamdani’s rent freeze twice in a row. Highly recommend. It’s a little bit handwavy about solutions but has a TON of interesting info about the NYC rental market and the problems that might accompany efforts to slow rent growth

If you want to be a revolutionary you need to learn how to knock on a stranger’s door, sit through a tedious meeting, monitor an ICE raid, moved a resolution through a hostile room, how to manage an influx of members etc. DSA can give you that experience. That is the beginning and the end of it.
